Welcome to Vethamonikam Memorial CSI Polytechnic College,

Many of you visiting this space are eager to become our students. Welcome! Vethamonikam Memorial CSI is located in Viricode, near Marthandam. Established in 2014, this college is run by the Church of South India Kanyakumari Diocese. The environment is located in a peaceful, green area, away from sound, pollution, and traffic. Our institution currently has five departments: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME), Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), and Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE). Our excellence extends beyond the classroom. We actively conduct conferences, workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and various co-curricular activities, as well as sports, cultural events, and social service opportunities. These activities help students explore beyond the curriculum, adding value to their future careers. The faculty supports development programs and encourages participation in national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences. We provide a wholistic education with devoted faculty, a wellequipped library, and labs. Students involved in NCC who wish to serve in the Indian Defence do not need to take the written exam; they only need to pass the physical fitness test. Our college collaborates with many national and international companies, providing job opportunities for our students. Our students also participate in state-level sports and games programs offered by our government. The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit at our college plays a vital role in our dedication to nurturing responsible citizens. Inspired by the NSS motto, "Not Me, But You," our students embody the values of selfless service and social responsibility that are essential for the development of our nation. Through blood donation, our students and staff contribute to saving lives and provide essential assistance to those in need, such as cancer patients and individuals facing severe health challenges. We take pride in supporting these life-saving initiatives. These activities offer important educational opportunities for our students, enabling them to recognize community needs and develop leadership abilities. I urge each student to think about donating blood regularly and participating in NSS initiatives. Your generosity can significantly influence those around you. Let’s unite to promote a healthier and more caring society. We are creating awareness and educating people through an anti-drug addiction program about the harmful effects of alcoholism and substance abuse on individuals, families, workplaces, and society.
